Hi, my name is Elliotte Friedman and I am the new lead reporter in the GHL.
With Bob McKenzie’s departure, I understand I have big shoes to fill, but you can count on me to get the job done. I am very excited to get to work with my good friends Pierre LeBrun (analyst) and Don Cherry (colour commentator).
First off, I’d like to formally welcome you to the GHL Gazette. The Gazette is the league’s new central news network and will be made up of all members of the media, as opposed to the now defunct Bob’s Blog, where Bob did all the work himself.
You can expect a number of changes with the newly created Gazette.

We will have weekly write-ups where we’ll look at the league’s matchups and latest news from the past 7 days. - Quarterly Season Reports
We will continue to publish a season report every four weeks where we take a deep dive into the underlying numbers and noteworthy statistics. - Trade Alerts & Analyses
You will now get an up-to-the-minute alert for every completed trade in the GHL. A full analysis of the trade will be provided in the following hours as well. - Playoff Previews
There will be a playoff preview article for every matchup in the post-season where we look at how both teams match up against each other and tell you who we think will prevail. - Prospect Updates
An update on the league’s prospects will be published every 2 to 4 weeks. - Miscellaneous Content
You will also get some miscellaneous content from time to time. Rumours, suggestions, player profiles, etc.
